With todayās announcement that Chivas USA will cease operations starting the 2015 MLS Season, the conference alignments are now set for Orlando Cityās inaugural MLS Season.
With Orlando City SC and New York City FC set to join the Eastern Conference, Sporting Kansas City and Houston Dynamo will be making the move to the western conference. This will create two 10-team conferences for the upcoming season.

During the course of the 34 game regular season, Orlando City will play each Eastern Conference team a minimum of two times (one home, one away), as well as six additional Eastern Conference matchups (3 home, 3 away). Orlando will also face all 10 Western Conference teams. 5 of those matches at home and the other five on the road.
