The Orlando City Academy is back in full swing for the fall season.Â
The young Lions faced their first local tests of the 2021-22 campaign this past weekend, as both the U15 and defending national champion U17 sides took on Florida Rush Soccer Club.
The U15s picked up their first competitive win of the fall, downing the Rush 3-2. Christian Gies, Colin Guske, and Israel Daniels all scored for Orlando City.
The U17s played up an age group, taking on the Rush U19 side in a friendly game. The two teams battled to a 2-2 draw, with the Orlando City goals coming from Alejandro Granados and Johann Chirinos.
