After nearly 2,500 miles traveled across the country from Orlando to Southern California, the Pride had just as many reasons to smile late Saturday night.

They're coming home with all three points -- a well-earned result for club's first victory of the young NWSL campaign.

With goals from Mikayla Cluff, Haley McCutcheon and prized offseason addition Adriana, Orlando powered past the San Diego Wave 3-1, dealing the home side its first-ever defeat at Snapdragon Stadium.

"It was a great team performance, from all the players, the intensity of in possession and out possession was terrific, and to come to a place like this and come away with three points is really impressive," Pride head coach Seb Hines said of the victory.
