A week break in MLS action for September's FIFA International window will see some big matches played for four Orlando City players.
Goalkeeper Pedro Gallese and midfielder Wilder Cartagena will play in Peru's World Cup Qualifiers against Paraguay (Thursday, 6:30 p.m.) and Brazil (Tuesday, 10:00 p.m.) over the next few days. The matches mark the beginning of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, set to be held in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Forward Facundo Torres will also take part in the World Cup Qualifiers for Uruguay, as they will face off against Chile (Friday, 7:00 p.m.) and Ecuador (Tuesday, 5:00 p.m.)
Meanwhile in Concacaf, Homegrown forward Wilfredo Rivera will be suiting up with Puerto Rico for the Concacaf Nations League, as they take on the Bahamas (Saturday, 6:00 p.m.) and Antigua and Barbuda (Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.)
