ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 15, 2021) - Orlando Pride (7-8-7, 28 points) concludes its 2021 NWSL regular season road slate on Saturday, Oct. 16, traveling to take on Racing Louisville FC (4-12-5, 17 points) at Lynn Family Stadium. Kickoff for the match is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, with the contest available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. and international viewers able to tune in on Twitch.

“This is obviously a really important match for us coming up, and we’re heading to Louisville looking to walk away with all three points,” interim Head Coach Becky Burleigh said. “Racing is a team that has some really strong players who can take advantage of situations, so it’s important for us to impose our style of play early in the match, control the tempo and commit to strong team defending for all 90 minutes.”

Saturday will serve as the third matchup between the Pride and the expansion side this season, as well as the first-ever regular season meeting at Louisville. In the last meeting between the clubs on September 11, the Pride hosted Louisville at Exploria Stadium, scoring three goals courtesy of Sydney Leroux, Marta and Alex Morgan to down the visitors 3-1.

Orlando is coming off a midweek matchup at Chicago where an early goal by the Red Stars proved to be the decider in an eventual 1-0 decision. Ashlyn Harris recorded eight saves in the match, her second highest save total this season.

Sydney Leroux continues to lead the Pride in goals scored at eight and also has two assists on the season. Teammates Marta and Taylor Kornieck continue to lead the Pride in assists, each with three on the year. After re-signing last week, midfielder Emily van Egmond has joined the Pride in Louisville and is expected to be available for Saturday’s match.

Racing Louisville is coming off a 3-0 defeat against the Washington Spirit this past Saturday. Louisville failed to find the back of the net for the tenth time this season in the contest.

Ebony Salmon currently leads Racing Louisville in goals scored with five. Cece Kizer and Nadia Nadim follow close behind with three apiece on the season. Savannah McCaskill has recorded three assists this season, leading the team in the category.

Following Saturday’s match, the Pride finish up the regular season on Friday, Oct. 29 against the Chicago Red Stars. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET at Exploria Stadium with tickets available at Orlando-Pride.com or by calling (855) ORL-CITY.
