CITY-MR-THUMBNAIL-16x9TORMH

TORONTO (Oct. 14, 2026) — Orlando City SC (11-13-5, 38 points) rallied from two deficits to earn a point in a 3-3 draw against Toronto FC (7-10-12, 33 points) on Wednesday night at BMO Field.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 26th minute as Theo Corbeanu sent a cross from the right wing into the center of the box towards Lewis Morgan, who broke free of his marks to head home the opener.

Orlando City equalized just before the halftime break after being awarded a penalty kick for a handball in the box. Filling in as captain for the injured Robin Jansson, Martín Ojeda calmly converted into the lower-left corner for his 15th goal of the year across all competitions and the 48th of his Orlando City career, making him the Club’s all-time leading goalscorer.

Toronto regained its advantage just four minutes into the second half after its press forced a turnover deep in Orlando's defensive third. Maxime Crépeau came off his line to make the initial save, but the rebound fell to Theo Corbeanu at the far post, where the Canadian winger slotted into an open net.

The Lions pulled level for a second time in the 77th minute through Antoine Griezmann, who continued his stellar form with his 10th MLS goal of the season in just 13 league appearances since joining the Club this summer. After Ojeda delivered a set piece into the box, Iago headed the ball across goal for Griezmann to volley home from close range and mark his ninth consecutive MLS match with a goal contribution.

Griezmann played a key role again six minutes later as Orlando City took the lead. The Frenchman slipped Iván Angulo into space on the right before making a decoy run into the penalty area, creating room for Daryl Dike to fire a first-time finish into the side netting in the 83rd minute. With the assist, Griezmann has now recorded 17 goal contributions in 17 appearances across all competitions since joining the Lions in July.

Toronto found a late equalizer through Matheus Pereira after another rebound in the box. Crépeau parried Djordje Mihailovic's long-range effort, but the loose ball fell straight to Pereira, who converted at the near post to split the points between the two sides.

The result keeps Orlando City seventh in the Eastern Conference heading into the final five regular-season matches of the year. Up next, the Lions return home to Inter.co Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 17, to host D.C. United. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Apple TV.

Interim Head Coach Martín Perelman:

“I think it was a game, first half, we dominate, and we unfortunately concede a goal. And then in the second half, pretty similar situation. I think at the end of the day, we concede goals that costs us too much and force mistakes. Maybe we need to improve there, but as well, it’s true that the team came here and I think dominated the game and in normal situations we would win. It was a point. It’s not what we wanted because we came here to win. Things to improve like always, but at the same time, great effort from the players, personality to play here. The effort was there, the performance, as well, and that’s it. It’s a point on the road. Now we continue on our journey until the end.”

Orlando City SC Forward Daryl Dike:

“A little bit frustrating because I think we did well to put ourselves in a good position, and of course, you’re never going to be happy when you don’t win. A good point away from home, but of course, we want to win, so it’s frustrating to lose two points in the manner that we did.”
