OCYS Welcomes Scott Gloden

Orlando, FL. March 18, 2018 - We are delighted to welcome Scott Gloden to Orlando City Youth for the 2018-19 season. Scott is a former Coach at University of Michigan and Saint Louis University, he will be working with our 2003 and 2004 Girls. 
“Scott is an experienced coach who is well respected in the soccer coaching community," Technical Director Paul Shaw said. "He recently moved to the Orlando area and brings high level experience from his time in College Women's Soccer programs working at the University of Michigan and Saint Louis University as assistant coach as well as head coaching experience at Goshen College.”
Since 2007, Coach Gloden has served as an ODP girls’ staff coach with Ohio Youth Soccer Association as Ohio North head coach and a Region II staff coach. Additionally, Coach Gloden was a girls’ staff coach for the Pacesetter Soccer Club in Sylvania, Ohio, from 2009-12. His U-18 girls’ team reached the State Cup semifinals two consecutive years.
Coach Gloden served as women’s soccer program assistant at the University of Michigan before going to Saint Louis University, and he has worked in three other NCAA Division I women’s soccer programs. He was an assistant coach at University of Cincinnati (2011-12), he was the first assistant/Recruiting Coordinator at Bowling Green State University (2007-11) and Saint Francis (Pa.) University (2004-07).
Coach Gloden is a 1998 graduate of Michigan. He holds a master’s degree in sports administration from Wayne State (Mich.) University as well as a United States Soccer Federation National “A” coaching license.
