ORLANDO, Fla. (June 11, 2024) – Orlando City defender David Brekalo has been named to Slovenia’s final roster for the UEFA EURO 2024, it was recently announced.

The Ljubljana, Slovenia, native has made 13 starts in 15 appearances for Orlando City, scoring one goal across all competitions in 2024 after joining the Lions this offseason via a transfer from Norwegian side Viking FK. The center back has made 13 total appearances for the Slovenian national team, including five in the nation’s qualification process for this tournament, scoring his first goal at the international level in a UEFA qualification match against Kazakhstan on March 23 of last year.
