ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 31, 2024) — With the start of its historic, 10th season in Major League Soccer kicking off in just under a month, Orlando City SC has announced Honor Thy History, a slate of year-long celebratory events to honor the team’s decade milestone. With a landmark season on the horizon, the Club will celebrate its first 10 years in MLS, uniting fans from the preseason through the end of the year through events, content and marquee moments.
The upcoming campaign will feature a number of returning fan favorites, such as the annual Kickoff to Soccer, the 2024 kit launch and marquee theme nights, as well as the introduction of a 10-year commemorative logo, a new trophy and history case at Inter&Co Stadium, and the recognition of Orlando City alumni throughout the year.
Announced on November 19, 2013, Orlando City SC became the 21st franchise in league history, ultimately beginning its MLS tenure on March 8, 2015 in front of 62,510 fans at the then Orlando Citrus Bowl. Now, 10 years later, the team is prepping to begin its campaign in front of its home crowd again, this time from Inter&Co Stadium, located in the heart of Downtown Orlando.
The Lions will welcome CF Montreal to the City Beautiful on February 24 with a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Tickets for the match are now available at OrlandoCitySC.com/Tickets.

Commemorative Logo
To celebrate the team’s 10th year in Major League Soccer, Orlando City SC has unveiled a commemorative logo that will be used throughout the duration of the 2024 season. The logo features a celebratory gold filigree decorating a red Roman numeral X, signifying the 10th MLS season, while also nodding back to the Club’s USL heritage by incorporating red into the design. The logo is meant to acknowledge the Club's history and will be used to celebrate it throughout the year in new and exciting ways.
Kickoff to Soccer: 10 Events to Celebrate 10 Years
This season, the Club’s annual Kickoff to Soccer will take on a new form, with 10 events to celebrate 10 years in Major League Soccer. The Kickoff to Soccer will continue with familiar favorites such as the Purple Pride 5K and “Pareja’s Perspective”. The highly-anticipated annual Kit Launch event will be held on Feb. 15 at Cheyenne Saloon, the same site where Orlando City was announced as the 21st MLS franchise in 2013.

Introducing: “The Vault” presented by Orlando Health
A new experience will be unveiled at Inter&Co Stadium, with the installation of the “The Vault” presented by Orlando Health. “The Vault” will be a trophy case honoring the history of both Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride, becoming the new home for the Club’s championship trophies and exclusive memorabilia from marquee moments in City and Pride history.
The Vault will open on March 9 ahead of Orlando City’s second home match of the season, honoring the anniversary of the Club’s first-ever game which was held on March 8, 2015.
2024 Theme Nights
The 2024 season will feature a lineup of exciting and engaging theme nights for Orlando City fans. This season, the Club will host nights such as a 10th Season Celebration (March 9), Kids’ Night (March 30), Star Wars Night (May 4), Pride in our City (June 22) and Fan Appreciation Night (Oct. 19).

Orlando City Alumni Recognitions
With 14 seasons of Orlando City history across both MLS and USL play, the Orlando City alumni pool includes over 150 players. This season, the Club will be welcoming back and honoring many of these players throughout the year, with appearances and recognitions at matches and various events.

Over the season, the Club will amplify its lineup with the addition of 10-year anniversary content, looking back and remembering some of the best moments of the first decade of the Lions’ history.
