ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 31, 2025) - Orlando City SC has announced its 10th Orlando City Soccer School with the unveiling of the brand-new Orlando City Soccer School – Poinciana, as the Club continues to expand its Youth Soccer Network to kids all across the Central Florida area.
"We’re excited to bring an Orlando City Soccer School to the Poinciana community,” Director of Youth Soccer Development for Orlando City Nick Santos said. “This is a significant step in the club's mission to increase access to the sport of soccer and use it to positively impact the lives of Central Florida youth.”
This location marks the Club’s first location in the Poinciana area, joining the nine other Orlando City Soccer Schools located across greater Orlando. OCSS – Poinciana will offer both recreational and competitive programs for boys and girls from the ages of three through 19. The school will also introduce programming for kids with special needs as the Club remains committed to fostering inclusion for all.
Located within the largest unincorporated, master-planned community in the U.S., spanning 47,000 acres across Polk and Osceola counties in Florida, OCSS – Poinciana will provide access to three outdoor 11v11 fields and three indoor facilities for futsal programming.
More information on joining OCSS – Poinciana, as well as the boys and girls soccer programming offered, can be found at the school’s Instagram page here. And website https://www.ocss-poinciana.com/.
The Club will hold a Grand opening event for OCSS – Poinciana on Saturday, Feb. 1st, with the community having the chance to get its first look at the new school. Club representatives will be in attendance along with children of all ages that will be attending the school.
