ORLANDO, Fla. (March 8, 2022) — Orlando Pride has signed midfielder Parker Roberts to a new contract, it was announced today. Roberts re-signs with the Pride on a two-year deal through the 2023 season, and will be on the team’s supplemental roster this season.

“I'm very pleased that Parker will continue to be a part of the Pride family for the foreseeable future,” Orlando Pride General Manager Ian Fleming said. “She joined us last year deep into the season, which is not an easy task for a rookie, yet showed a professionalism and desire to learn and develop, and that made the transition a successful one for her here. We're all happy to see that the development has continued into preseason this year and look forward to seeing Parker go from strength-to-strength.”

Roberts, 24, appeared twice for the Pride a year ago after signing with the side in August. A product out of the University of Florida, the former Gators’ captain recorded her professional debut on Sept. 11 in a 3-1 win over Racing Louisville, entering the match as a second half substitute. As a Gator, Roberts totaled 13 goals and 10 assists over 65 games, finishing her career in Gainesville as a three-time selection to both the All-Southeast Region and All-SEC teams.

The Pride open 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup play on March 19, hosting the Washington Spirit at Exploria Stadium. Season Ticket Memberships and group tickets for the 2022 season are currently available at Orlando-Pride.com.
