ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 17, 2022) - In preparation for the third edition of the NWSL Challenge Cup, the Orlando Pride has announced a slate of five preseason matches, including a match open to the fans on Wednesday, March 2 against NWSL side Kansas City Current, presented by Orlando Health.
The Pride will welcome the 2021 expansion team to Exploria Stadium in a 7 p.m. ET kickoff, with tickets available to the general public for just $10 at the link here.
2022 Orlando Pride Season Ticket Members will receive up to four complimentary tickets per account and suite holders will have complimentary access to their suites. Member Services Representatives will reach out to account holders directly with more information.
All seating will be general admission, with the East sideline and Supporters sections open. Fans attending the match are strongly encouraged to wear a mask and also follow social distancing recommendations, whenever possible.
In addition to getting their first look at the 2022 Pride, fans will also have the opportunity to give back to the Parramore community, as the Club and Orlando City Foundation will again be accepting donations throughout the venue. Fans who wish to contribute are asked to bring the below items, which are often the most in-need:
- Food items that do not require cooking or a can opener (ie: peanut butter, soups, applesauce, protein bars, crackers)
- Athletic shoes or casual shoes of any kind, including flip flops
- Socks
- Diapers
- Feminine hygiene products
In addition to the Kansas City match, the Club will have four closed-door games against collegiate opponents, set to face its first opposition of the year, the University of Central Florida, on Friday, Feb. 18. The following week, the Pride take on the University of South Florida, with final games against reigning NCAA Champion Florida State University and Flagler College on March 5 and March 12, respectively.
The Pride will begin play in the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup on Saturday, March 19, hosting the Washington Spirit in a 7 p.m. ET kickoff.
