MLS NEXT Pro: Orlando City B sits atop Eastern Conference after third straight win
Jack Lynn netted his second goal of the season and Favian Loyola scored his first in highlight-reel fashion to lead Orlando City B to a 2-0 shutout victory on Sunday against Inter Miami CF II.
The win was the third straight for the Lions (3-0-0, 9 points), putting them alone at the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
OCB opened the scoring inside of five minutes for the third time in as many matches as Loyola whipped in a cross from the right side that found the waiting head of Jack Lynn for the finish. Loyola then doubled the advantage himself off a feed from Juninho, dribbling through a trio of Inter Miami defenders on his way to slotting a shot past Miami's CJ dos Santos for the goal.
The Lions will look to extend its league-best win streak on Sunday when it travels to face Atlanta United 2 for the inaugural meeting between the two sides in a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
