1. The Cardiac CatsTM strike again. Down 1-0 and 2-1 at points in the game, the Lions came back to tie and eventually win the game in stoppage time 3-2 over D.C. United at Audi Field in the nation's capital.
2. The eventual game-winning goal came from Duncan McGuire, who got in behind the defense and finished one-v-one against D.C. goalkeeper Alex Bono. The goal came from a clinical pass from Nico Lodeiro, who threaded the ball between the two United centerbacks, perfectly finding the running McGuire in stride. This is the second straight year that McGuire has scored in D.C., with his first professional goal coming on the road against United last year.
3. Defender David Brekalo scored his first goal for the Lions in the 82nd minute. A corner from Lodeiro was put right on the head of the centerback to head in. It was a perfect goal for the player that, prior to joining Orlando, scored most of his goals off headers.
4. The Lions survived a chippy game, with D.C. committing 19 fouls and earning 6 yellow cards in the game. It was something that Head Coach Oscar Parjea prepared for, with his team showing composure under duress with all of the breakups in play.
5. The impact off the bench was incredibly important for Orlando in this one. Lodeiro's two assists and McGuire's goal highlight the quality that Pareja has at his disposal to give the Lions an extra push at the end of games.
6. Ivan Angulo's pace and play improved on both offense and defense. The midfielder got his first assist of the season on Dagur Dan Thorhallsson's opening goal, but his ability to track back and break up play was the most noticeable aspect of his play. He led the team in interceptions and was an important cog in the team's defensive play late in the game.
7. Even though the Lions won the game, they once again had to do so after coming from behind. Orlando has conceded five goals this year in the first 15 minutes of games, something that Thorhallsson talked about after the game, noting that the team needs to figure out their early game strategies defensively so that doesn't continue to be a trend.
8. With the game today, captain Robin Jansson became the first Orlando City player to reach 15,000 minutes played in all competitions in his 170th appearance for Orlando. He also had a solid game in the backline to boot.
9. The Lions will now head up to Canada to face CF Montreal next Saturday. This will be the second time this season the two sides will face each other, following an opening day draw back in February. That match will kick off on April 20 at 7:30 p.m. ET via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
