Orlando City defender Tyler Turner and striker Bryan Róchez are back on the international scene after being called up by their respective national teams for the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Jamaica.
City’s right-back was included amongst the 20-man roster announced by U.S. Soccer, filled with talented players from MLS and top European leagues. Meanwhile, Róchez – City’s promising young MLS Designated Player – was called-up by Honduras.
The CONCACAF Championship, set to run from January 9-24, provides a quality opportunity for Turner and Róchez to directly qualify for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, as four teams will receive automatic qualification.

The USA has been drawn into Group A along with Guatemala (Jan. 9), Panama (Jan. 11), Aruba (Jan. 14), Jamaica (Jan. 18), and Trinidad and Tobago (Jan. 21). All five of their matches will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 2.
In Group B, Honduras was paired with El Salvador (Jan. 10), Cuba (Jan. 12), Mexico (Jan. 15), Haiti (Jan. 19), and Canada (Jan. 22).
During the off-season, Turner has been a consistent call-up by Ramos and the U-20 staff, as the 18-year-old continues to prepare for City’s inaugural MLS campaign. After playing regularly for the U.S. U-20’s during the International National Teams Football Tournament in Spain in last November, Turner recently started in the U-20’s two wins over Honduras on December 18 and December 21.
