A Tale of Two Lions
The Lions’ matchup with Club León will mark the first meeting between the two clubs, with Orlando City set to face Liga MX opposition for the 14th time across all competitions. Orlando City enters the match following a 2-1 win over C.F. Monterrey in its Leagues Cup 2026 opener and owns a 4W-2L-7D record against Mexican clubs.

Daryl Dike made his first appearance for Orlando City since rejoining the club this summer, marking his first match for the Lions since the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs after a move to West Bromwich Albion F.C. in January 2022.
