Here are five storylines to watch for Saturday's home match vs Columbus Crew:

Chasing History

Martín Ojeda enters Saturday night's match on the verge of making Orlando City history. The Argentine is currently tied with Facundo Torres atop the Club's all-time scoring chart with 47 goals across all competitions and can become the Lions' outright all-time leading goalscorer with his next strike. Ojeda has already set career highs in goals and assists this season and continues to climb the club's record books, sitting just three assists shy of Mauricio Pereyra's all-time club record of 47.

Angulo Eyes Another Milestone

Iván Angulo has been one of the hottest players in Major League Soccer in recent weeks, scoring in four consecutive league matches entering Saturday's contest. The Colombian can become just the second player in Orlando City history to score in five straight MLS regular season matches, joining Antoine Griezmann, who accomplished the feat earlier this season. Angulo has found a new level in front of goal down the stretch and will look to keep his scoring streak alive against one of the Eastern Conference's top sides.

Lions Shine on International Stage

Several Orlando City players enjoyed standout performances during the recent international window. Homegrown forward Justin Ellis scored in each of his first two starts with the United States Men's National Team, including a goal just four minutes into his debut against Peru in Orlando before netting the game-winner against Canada. Marco Pašalić scored Croatia's winning goal against Czechia, while David Brekalo helped Slovenia secure three Nations League victories and concede just once across his 299 minutes of action. Midfielder Wilder Cartagena also made his long-awaited return to Peru's national team setup, starting all four matches during the international break.

Playoff Pursuit

As the regular season enters its final stretch, Orlando City continues its push toward a seventh consecutive Audi MLS Cup Playoffs appearance. The Lions currently hold the longest active playoff streak in Major League Soccer, having qualified for every postseason since 2020. A seventh straight berth would further cement Orlando City's place among the league's most consistent clubs and extend a run that has included one Eastern Conference Finals appearance and two additional trips to at least the conference semifinals.

Rookie Rising

Forward Harvey Sarajian continues to make the most of his opportunities in his first professional season. Selected by Orlando City with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, the forward recorded an assist in the Lions' last match to bring his total to three goal contributions on the year. Despite appearing in just nine MLS matches so far this season, Sarajian has quickly shown his quality in the final third and remains one of the latest youth success stories.
