This week, Orlando City traveled to Melbourne for a week of training and a Sunday friendly against Eastern Florida State College. Training on OCBās home pitch has brought the USL club into the conversation this week. Harrison Heath, a young defensive midfielder, said that he is looking forward to having Orlando City B as part of their club. āIāll be looking forward to playing some minutes,ā Heath said.
The 19-year-old midfielder had three appearances last season for Orlando City. While he is unsure of exactly what his role will be this season, he likes the idea of getting more playing time with Orlando City B. āI want to be a leader for that group,ā he said with a smile.

Orlando City B gives Head Coach Adrian Heath more options and gives his players more opportunities to make their mark. āItās huge for the young players. Theyāll have somewhere to play,ā Coach Heath said. āAt the end of the day, no matter what we put on the training groundā¦ nothing ever replicates what you do in a game.ā
In a league so full of talent, it can difficult to get the experience needed to properly develop as a player. Orlando City B gives young players an opportunity to learn and make a name for themselves.
Harrison Heath knows that he can make an impact. āI want to prove to people that I can do it.ā
