KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Sept. 20, 2026) – Orlando City B (11-10-7, 44 points) fell 4-2 to Atlanta United 2 (14-9-5, 48 points) on Sunday afternoon at Osceola Heritage Park, a result that ultimately eliminated the Lions from MLS NEXT Pro postseason contention and ended their 2026 campaign.
Atlanta opened the scoring in the third minute as Cameron Dunbar drove a low cross into the box and Arif Kovac redirected it inside the post with a right-footed touch.
The Lions answered in the 18th minute through Issah Haruna. Gustavo Caraballo slipped a weighted through ball into Haruna’s path, and the forward drove into the box before sending a left-footed strike into the net.
Haruna’s finish was his seventh goal of the 2026 campaign and fourth in the Lions’ last five matches. The assist was Caraballo’s fifth of the season, extending his goal contribution streak to four matches after scoring in each of OCB's previous three contests.
Atlanta moved back in front late in the first half when a corner kick deflected off Orlando City B forward Harvey Sarajian and into the net. Ignacio Suárez-Couri made it 3-1 in the 40th minute, finishing Cameron Dunbar's cutback from close range.
The Lions cut the deficit just before halftime through Justin Hylton. Haruna found the 18-year-old on the right side of the box, and Hylton settled the ball before curling a finish into the far corner for his fourth goal of the season.
OCB pressed for an equalizer after halftime, but Atlanta restored its two-goal lead in the 63rd minute through Dominik Chong Qui. The Five Stripes held on from there to close out the 4-2 result.
