Mohammed’s 38th-minute goal served as his eighth across all competitions for the young Lions. OCB forward Yutaro Tsukada provided the assist on Mohammed’s finish, tallying his third helper of the year and improving his team lead.

The Lions' midweek matchup pits them against New York Red Bulls II who they’ve only played twice in their MLS NEXT Pro tenures.
