Forward Jack Lynn scored his seventh goal of the season for the Lions over the weekend, kicking off the scoring spree in route to a 4-0 shutout victory for Orlando City B over FC Cincinnati 2. Lynn’s seven finishes leads OCB this season, now with 22 goals throughout his MLS NEXT Pro career.
Maintaining the Streak
Orlando City B took the series sweep over Chicago Fire II a year ago, taking a 2-0 shutout victory to begin its MLS NEXT Pro tenure on March 26 before rallying from a 3-1 deficit to earn a 4-3 win at SeatGeek Stadium on July 17. Forward Jack Lynn found the back of the net three times against the Fire last year, with teammate Favian Loyola bagging a brace in the July meeting between the two sides.

Orlando City midfielder Shak Mohammed scored his first professional goal in the Lions’ last outing, good for the game-winner for Orlando City B against New York Red Bulls II. Mohammed was selected at second overall by the Lions at the 2023 MLS SuperDraft out of Duke University and has started the last two matches for Orlando City B.
Keep it Clean
Goalkeeper Javier Otero had to make just two saves on Sunday night to tally his third clean sheet of the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro campaign. Two of Otero’s shutouts have come in the Lions’ last four contests, now with seven in total throughout his MLS NEXT Pro career. Orlando City B will be without Otero this weekend, as well as teammate Moises Tablante, as the pair embarks on international duty with the Venezuelan National Team.
