Wilding Takes the Helm
Orlando City B enters its next match under new head coach Edward Wilding, who was appointed April 9, 2026. Wilding brings more than a decade of coaching experience, previously serving as Methodology Lead for the Orlando City Academy and head coach of both the U-18 and U-16 squads. A holder of UEFA A and USSF A licenses and a current Elite Formation Coaching License candidate, Wilding, 31, is now the youngest active head coach in MLS NEXT Pro.
Young Lions Show Late Fight
Orlando City B authored a dramatic comeback in its last outing against intrastate rivals Inter Miami CF II, erasing a three-goal deficit to earn a 4-4 draw before securing the extra point in the end-of-regulation shootout via a 4-2 tiebreaker. The performance marked one of the most resilient displays of the season as the Young Lions surged late to steal a result against their rivals at Inter&Co Stadium.
Caraballo Delivers in the Clutch
Midfielder Gustavo Caraballo led the comeback for the Lions with a two-goal performance as a second-half substitute, scoring just 14 minutes apart in the second half to pull Orlando City B back into contention. His second strike came directly from a corner kick for an olímpico in second-half stoppage time, leveling the match and forcing the shootout.
Ellis, Sarajian Set the Tempo
Forward Justin Ellis fueled the Lions’ attack with a goal and two assists in the match against Inter Miami II, while 2026 MLS SuperDraft first-round selection Harvey Sarajian added another helper as Orlando City B mounted its late surge. The duo combined for key contributions throughout the second half, driving the momentum shift that carried the match into the shootout. The pair now hold five goal contributions each on the year, with Ellis posting three goals and two assists, while Sarajian has added two strikes and three helpers, contributing in every match of his rookie campaign.
