San Jose, Calif. (Sept. 27, 2026) – The Orlando Pride (10-13-3, 33 points) defeated Bay FC (7-14-5, 26 points), 3-1, on Sunday afternoon at PayPal Park.
The Pride opened the scoring in the second minute through Haley McCutcheon. After driving forward into the attack, Solai Washington played a pass back for McCutcheon, who chipped a right-footed strike into the upper-right corner.
McCutcheon’s goal was her fifth of the 2026 campaign, while Washington’s assist was her third of the year, pulling her level with Barbra Banda and Jacquie Ovalle for the team lead.
The hosts found an equalizer in the 11th minute when Claire Hutton lifted a ball to the back post, where Racheal Kundananji met it with a header into the back of the net.
The Pride reclaimed the lead two minutes into the second half when Angelina lofted a corner kick to the back post, where Haley McCutcheon rose unmarked to head home her second goal of the afternoon. The finish completed McCutcheon’s second career brace, with her first coming in Orlando’s April 3 win over Angel City FC, while the assist marked Angelina’s second of the 2026 campaign.
Bay FC continued to press for an equalizer throughout the second half, but the Pride stood firm defensively to maintain their lead. Jacquie Ovalle secured the result in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time when Barbra Banda played her forward. Ovalle drove centrally before firing a right-footed strike from distance into the back of the net.
The strike marked Ovalle’s third goal of the 2026 campaign, while Banda’s assist was her club-leading fourth of the season.
