SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- It only took seven minutes into her third game, but the Orlando Pride's marquee midseason signing Jacquie Ovalle made her mark, scoring the opening goal of the match against the San Diego Wave.
On a counter attack from the Pride, Oihane and Ally Watt combine on a ball over the top of the defense. As Watt drove into the teeth of the defense, she laid off the ball to a trailing Ovalle, who took a dribble, settled the ball onto her magical left foot and curled the ball towards the far post, beating Didi Haračić for La Maga's first NWSL goal.
