1. It was a dogfight of a game for the Orlando Pride on Pups of Pride Night, as they picked up a second straight 1-0 win, this time over expansion side Bay FC.
2. Welcome back, Adri. The Brazilian scored her first goal of the season from the spot, following a penalty won by Barbra Banda. Adriana led the team last year in goals with six, so getting her going offensively just adds to the bevy of weapons the Pride have at their disposal.
3. While Barbra Banda didn't get on the scoresheet this game, she was the most effective player offensively for the Pride. It took a heroic effort from Bay's Katelyn Rowland to keep the Zambian from scoring, making five saves on her shots. Banda's activity on the offensive end was relentless, chasing down balls and creating for herself and her teammates. It's a shame she wasn't rewarded with a goal.
4. The defensive play from this Pride team continues to impress, getting their fourth clean sheet of the season. Through nine games, the team has only allowed seven goals, the third-best in the league in that category. With many of the early games of the season playing with a makeshift backline, its even more of an impressive feat for this Orlando team.
5. Tactically speaking, this team has shown a tremendous amount of flexibility in their movement, going from traditional four at the back to switching to three at the back in attack, with one of the fullbacks overlapping. Head Coach Seb Hines has talked at length about the players' ability to play different positions, but they also deserve credit for their ability to continue adapting tactically while winning games.
6. A sixth straight win breaks the club record for most consecutive wins in a season. They've tied the 2019 North Carolina Courage for most consecutive wins in a season as the most recent team to achieve that marker. As a note, that Courage team finished the season 15-4-5, so the Pride sit in good company.
7. The win also puts the Pride back in first place in the NWSL standings, three points ahead of the Kansas City Current.
8. The Pride now head back on the road after two matches at home, going all the way out west to face off against the Seattle Reign. The match is set for 6 p.m. ET in Seattle, Washington.
