History has favored the hosts whenever Orlando Pride and Racing Louisville meet. Across 14 all-time meetings in all competitions, the away side has never come away with a victory (excluding penalty shootouts). As the series returns to Inter&Co Stadium, the Pride will look to continue that trend and add another home result against Louisville.
Fortress Orlando
After a slow start at home this season, Orlando has turned Inter.co Stadium into a difficult place for opponents to visit. The Pride have won six of their last eight home matches and have recorded three clean sheets in their last five games on home turf. With a strong defensive foundation and consistent results, Orlando will aim to build on its recent success in front of its supporters.
Still Got the Magic
Marta continued to showcase her trademark skill last weekend against North Carolina, completing multiple dribbles past opponents in a match for the first time this season. The Brazilian legend remains the league’s all-time leader in dribbles past opponents since Opta began tracking the metric in 2016, having successfully beaten opponents 274 times in regular-season play.
Moorhouse Milestone
Anna Moorhouse added another chapter to her growing legacy with the Pride last weekend. Her three-save performance against North Carolina pushed her career regular-season total to 292, setting a new Club record and surpassing former Pride goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris. Already the Club’s all-time leader in clean sheets, Moorhouse continues to establish herself as one of the most accomplished goalkeepers in team history.
A New Face Forward
The Pride welcomed a new addition to the field last weekend as Zoe Matthews made her Club debut against North Carolina. The young forward joined Orlando in July after beginning her professional career with the Houston Dash, where she became the youngest signing in Club history at age 17.
