From free soccer camps to fun-filled visits with players, Orlando City Foundation has spent the summer with hundreds of children in the community. The Foundation concluded its Parramore area soccer camps in July by treating over 80 children to an exclusive visit to the Lions’ training grounds at Sylvan Lake Park. Pegasus Transportation provided their ride and Publix provided healthy snacks and drinks to keep cool under the warm sun.
Aside from the visit, midfielder Pedro Ribeiro concluded the Foundation’s fourth visit to Easter Seals – an organization that provides exceptional services, education, outreach and advocacy to people living with autism and other disabilities. Pedro, along with several youth players and Front Office staff members, made weekly visits during the month of July to engage with the kids and put smiles on their faces.
