ORLANDO, Fla. (April 4, 2019) - Orlando Pride has unveiled plans for the Club’s second round of 2019 Kickoff to Soccer events. These events began this morning with the Fourth Annual Scarf the City presented by JetBlue, which will run throughout Thursday, April 4, and will culminate on April 14 when the Pride open their fourth National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season against Portland Thorns FC at Orlando City Stadium.
The Club previously held a week of Kickoff to Soccer events leading into the 2019 Orlando City MLS opener, and will now host five events in addition to the 2019 Pride home opener. Each event over the 10-day span will provide a unique opportunity for fans to get closer to the Club, build excitement for the upcoming season and meet members of the 2019 roster.

Scarf the City presented by JetBlue

Details: Fans should be on the lookout throughout the day on Thursday, April 4 when the Fourth Annual Scarf the City presented by JetBlue begins. Throughout the day, 1,500 complimentary co-branded Orlando Pride and Orlando City scarves, courtesy of JetBlue, will be dispersed throughout the City Beautiful and Greater Orlando area. Each scarf will also include a unique code, providing fans the opportunity to win additional prizes such as match tickets or JetBlue travel certificates.

Preseason Match: Orlando Pride vs. Puerto Rico Sol

Details: The Pride will be opening the doors to their final preseason game, as they take on the Puerto Rico Sol. Complimentary tickets will be to fans who wish to get a look at Marc Skinner’s 2019 team before the season kicks off a week later.

Details: Have questions for Pride Head Coach Marc Skinner ahead of the new season or just want to enjoy a burger with some of your favorite Pride players? On April 13, fans will have the opportunity to do both. The Club will host a live Q&A with new gaffer Marc Skinner at Lion’s Pride on historic Church Street, with select Pride players also in attendance. In addition, Lion’s Pride will be unveiling it’s newest menu item - the Pride Burger!
